Supporting Our Partners: Ramadan Gift Distribution across 11 States

New Incentives–All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE) distributed Ramadan gifts to the State Primary Health Care Development Agencies across 11 states, including Bauchi, Gombe, Kano, and Katsina, to share in the spirit of the holy month and strengthen partnerships. The initiative, which began in 2024, was expanded this year to include Niger and Yobe States. Government officials and health leaders expressed gratitude, reaffirming their commitment to collaboration in improving routine immunization efforts.

Bauchi State Program Addition

The Emir of Dass and the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board launched the All Babies’ Livelihood Grant in Bauchi State, with support from New Incentives All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE). The grant provides caregivers with an additional ₦5,000 upon completing their child’s immunization schedule. This is aimed at boosting routine immunization and retention rates across more than 1,100 clinics in Bauchi State, with strong support from government officials and traditional leaders.

During the visits, we shared updates on the progress of the All Babies program in their respective emirates and sought their continued support for improving routine immunization uptake.

In September, the Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, launched a new All Babies Are Equal program addition—a ₦5,000 Livelihood Grant—in collaboration with New Incentives to boost routine immunization uptake, improve child health, and support caregivers across the state.
